Updating AumaTron only replaces the program code — your conversations, settings, app configurations, API keys, and databases are never overwritten. Everything you've set up stays exactly as it is.
Your personal data lives separately from the application files, so installing a new version is like changing the engine without touching the cargo.

Download the new installer
Grab the latest version from this page. It's a standard Windows installer — no uninstalling needed first.

Run the installer
Install to the same location. The installer replaces only the application code — your data directory is separate and left alone.

Launch and go
Open AumaTron. All your conversations, settings, API keys, scheduled tasks, and installed apps are right where you left them.

Update FAQ
Do I need to uninstall before updating?
No. Just run the new installer over your existing installation. It will update the application files and leave your data alone.
Will I lose my conversations?
Never. Your conversations, chat history, and chained threads are stored in your personal data directory, completely separate from the program files. Updates don't touch them.
What about my API keys and app settings?
All your configuration — API keys, provider settings, encryption keys, .env files — lives in your AppData folder. Updates only replace application code, never your configuration.
What about installed apps from the marketplace?
Your installed apps, their databases, and their settings are preserved. If an app has a new version bundled with the update, only the code is refreshed — your app's .env and data stay intact.
Can I skip versions?
Yes. Each release is a full installer, not a patch. You can go from any version to any newer version directly.
Will I need to re-enter my license key?
No. Your license key is stored in your personal database and carries over automatically with every update. You won't be asked to activate again.
Where is my data stored?
On Windows, your data lives in %AppData%\AumaTron\. This includes your database, app data, and configuration files. The desktop app creates this folder on first launch.
